How can I find comfort?
Comfort that you need can only come from God almighty. IF you don't have a local bible
believing church, find one and start attending. You can find many answers through
preaching of the Word of God. You can also get comfort by reading the bible. Many
answers can be found in the bible.
Why do we suffer?
It was a common belief in those days that sickness and troubles were a direct
punishment for sins, either committed by the person himself, or else by his parents or
spouse. But in the above cases that wasn't true. There are several reasons why people
face hard times. For example we go through trials.
To strengthen us
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations,
there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I
should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might
depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is
made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9
So God's grace and comfort may be revealed
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the
God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to
comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are
comforted of God.

As a result of sin

How can I know I will see my child again?
Babies and children get instant heaven when they die even if they are not baptized into
any religion.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence. Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
If you are a Christian your whole faith system is based on the belief that there is a heaven. You believe that Jesus came from heaven, died on a cross, was resurrected, and returned to heaven. (John 11:25)
Heaven was Jesus' favorite subject. He spoke so much about the Kingdom of Heaven. He even said that the kingdom of heaven is made up of children. Jesus LOVED children. (Matthew 18:3, Matthew 19:14)
Your baby is NOT in the ground he is at home awaiting your arrival. Your baby is NOT dead he is more alive than you and I could ever hope to be. His body was a vehicle and the Real him is not some shadowy ghost. That place that God and your baby dwell in is MORE real, MORE concrete than these shadow lands we live in. (1 Corinthians 15:35 56, 2Corinhtians 5:6 8)
Contrary to popular belief your baby is not an angel. He is still your precious human baby. Nowhere in the Bible does it say we turn into angels when we go to heaven. In fact it says that in the last days we will judge the angels. (1 Corinthians 6:2 3, Hebrews 1:14)
Time is not the same in heaven as it is on earth. The Word of God says that with the Lord "a thousand years is as a day." A man came up with a formula based on (1000yrs here = 24 hrs in heaven). Based on the facts given in that verse, even if we live on earth another 100 years, only 2 1/2 hours will have passed in heaven. In your baby's eyes he has only been away from you a moment. And when you get to heaven he will still be your baby, not a grown up. (Psalms 90:4, 2 Peter3:8)
There are colors in heaven that we cannot see here. We can only see black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet and different mixtures of these. There are colors above and below the spectrum that our eyes are not equipped to see. Your baby is seeing colors that you can't even imagine. The same with sounds. There are sound waves that scientifically we are unable to detect with our ears. Imagine the music and harmonies that your baby can experience!! (I Corinthians 2:9)
Words will not convince you that there is a heaven. But neither did words convince you that Jesus was real. It was the Holy Spirit And I pray that the same Spirit that revealed the truth of Christ to you reveal the truth of heaven to you. (Matthew 16:17, 1 Corinthians 2: 10)
What do I have to do to get to heaven?
You can know you are going to heaven. The bible says so!
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
The first step to get to heaven is to admit you are a sinner.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
We are all sinners, every one of us. No one on earth can say that they have not sinned.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
If you are having a hard time admitting you are sinner, ask yourself, have I ever lied? Ever stolen anything, even a pencil or a piece of gum? Have I ever lusted after another? Once you realize there is a penalty for sin. It is just like when you get pulled over by the police. You are speeding, you get a ticket. There is a penalty for breaking the law in your country and there is a punishment for breaking God's law.
The second step is to realize you need a Savior.
Romans 6:23(a) For the wages of sin is death;
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
How can I be headed for hell you might ask? The bible says, this is where sinners go. This is WHY Jesus came to die on the cross for us. Because we were headed for hell. This is why Jesus is our Saviour. He SAVED us from hell!
The third step is to repent and believe what Jesus did for you on the cross. It’s not what WE do. It’s not going to church or just believing that Jesus existed. It is accepting what He did for you and then using HIS work He did for YOU to save you.
Romans 6:23(b) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Even though we deserved hell because of our sin, God loved us so much, that he sent His own Son to die for us to pay the price for our sin.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent:
The fourth step is to confess Jesus as your personal Saviour.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Once you realize, admit, believe and confess you can be saved and you will be on your way to heaven. It is this easy. God made the road to heaven easy for us to get to. But the only way is through His Son Jesus Christ.
If you don't know what to say to God, pray this prayer taken from Psalms 51
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I admit it. I know that if I were to die right now, I would go to hell. I believe you died on the cross to pay for my sins and I believe that you rose from the dead by the power of God. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my heart and make it clean. Save my soul from hell and take me to heaven when I die.
